Ocean View Beach Access Vacation Home in Yachats, Oregon
Yachats is a precious, quaint and walkable community with miles of sandy beaches, and a dedicated beach front trail for all ages to enjoy.

The Seahawk Nest is a light-filled 2 bedroom, 2 bath wheelchair accessible home with amazing ocean views from the living, dining, kitchen and main bedroom.
Perched at the dead end of a small lane with immediate beach access stairs in front of the home. You will find everything you need here for a special get away. One King bed, one Queen with a Twin pull-out trundle and a Queen sofa sleeper to comfortably accommodate 6 guests and a well behaved pooch or two.
We have created a very comfortable space to enjoy with a small family or a couple of friends. We have plenty of bedding, linens and cleaning supplies, and a pet area in the utility room where you can find feeding and water bowls, waste bags, towels and wet wipes for those sandy paws. The deck wraps around from the front, all the way to the back of the house with a gate on each end in case you’ve got a runner.

Everything one could need is here. Walk to town right from the house along the 804 trail accessible by the beach. The 804 trail is a great area to whale watch with thoughtfully placed benches placed along the way to take in the views. Yachats is home to countless wonders of sea and wildlife. Watch seals play in the surf right in front of the beach access. There is a resident pod of Gray Whales that make appearances year round, and enjoy feeding right off the rocks along the 804. Bald eagles hunt for fish and crab all along the area. Low tides always reveal what is hidden in the waves – starfish aplenty, jellyfish, anemones and mussels.

While our town may be small, it is big on flavor. We have our own small grocery store, a little organic market inside the Ya Hots Video Store, and a wonderful wine shop Beach Daisy Wine (the owner is a classically trained chef to boot).
Our local fish monger is also a seafood place well known for their fish n chips and chowder at Luna Sea. A popular food destination that brings travelers from all over thanks to it’s write ups in multiple travel publications, Yachats Brewing brews up seasonal beers and kombuchas. Their farm to table style and locally soured ingredients keep the ever rotating food menu fresh and fun.
If you prefer family style dining, the The Drift Inn has a large menu that is sure to please everyone. Their wood-fire pizza is always a hit, and if you sit on the patio, you can watch them make your creation. If upscale seafood dining is your style, you cannot miss Ona Restaurant with it’s view of the bay. Locally sourced, thoughtfully designed dishes with craft cocktails and a solid wine list. Leroy’s Blue Whale is fun for breakfast or if you like diner fare. They also have a great pie selection.
The Green Salmon is the “it” spot for specialty coffees and vegetarian breakfast/lunch options. You also cannot miss it when you drive by, as the Village Bean is a drive-through coffee shop.
Also notable to mention, we have a pizza joint Outta Gas Pizza, a “locals hang out” pub The Yachats Underground that has live music with a view of the bay, Beach Street Kitchen, a kitschy and high quality breakfast/brunch spot, and a bar/restaurant with the coldest beer you’ll ever have on tap and known for their flat bread pizzas and laid back atmosphere – the Sea Note. Rain or shine, the ice cream shop is always a hit, as well.
The newest addition to our food scene is Saint Perpetua with it’s small menu/daily specials that you can pick up from an order window and take with you, or enjoy outdoor seating on a small covered patio. They also make craft cocktails to go with super fun, inventive ingredients.
